Xtractor Custom - 6FT - 3LB

The Sonik Xtractor+ Custom 6FT 3LB is a compact premium carp rod that combines high-quality carbon technology with a powerful and responsive action. The super-high-modulus carbon blank with low resin content features a matte, spiral-wound armor construction and is designed to deliver plenty of power without losing the direct feel of the rod.

With a length of just 6 ft, this model is particularly compact and easy to handle. The BulletPoint™ tip construction ensures a fast recovery of the tip and supports accurate casts, while the American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides and the Delta Black anti-tangle tip ring provide high-quality line management. The Xtractor+ Custom is finished with a CNC-machined 1K carbon reel seat, Deception-Camo EVA handle, and a black anodized butt cap.

Super-high-modulus carbon blank

The blank of the Xtractor+ Custom is made from super-high-modulus carbon with low resin content. This construction is designed to create a direct and responsive action while delivering enough power when the rod is under load.

Surrounding the blank is a matte spiral-wound carbon armor construction. This contributes to the premium finish of the rod and gives the blank its distinctive, technical look.

BulletPoint™ tip construction

The BulletPoint™ tip construction is developed for an exceptionally fast tip recovery after the cast. A tip that settles quickly helps reduce unwanted movement and supports a more precise presentation of the rig.

• Fast tip recovery
• Responsive action
• Designed for precise casting
• Supports efficient power transfer

American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides

The rod is equipped with American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides in a Shadow Black PVD finish. These high-quality guides match the light and technical character of the Xtractor+ Custom and ensure smooth line management.

The tip ring is a 16 mm Delta Black anti-tangle model with a NanoLite™ ceramic insert. The anti-tangle design reduces the chance of the line wrapping around the tip ring during casting.

• American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides
• Shadow Black PVD finish
• Delta Black anti-tangle tip ring
• 16 mm tip ring diameter
• NanoLite™ ceramic insert

VARI-TAPER™ joint system

The VARI-TAPER™ joint construction is designed to allow the action of the different blank sections to flow as smoothly as possible into each other. This keeps the rod progressive when the blank is further loaded during a cast or fight.

• VARI-TAPER™ joint
• Designed for smooth transition between blank sections
• Supports progressive action
• Helps maintain blank responsiveness

CNC-machined 1K carbon reel seat

The Xtractor Custom features a CNC-machined 1K carbon DPS-18 reel seat with matte black caps. This high-quality finish ensures a secure reel attachment and visually complements the carbon character of the complete rod.

Deception-Camo EVA handle

The handle is made of Deception-Camo EVA, giving the rod a distinctive yet functional finish. At the rear is a black anodized butt cap with a laser-engraved ‘S’ logo.

• Deception-Camo EVA handle
• Comfortable grip
• Black anodized butt cap
• Laser-engraved Sonik ‘S’ logo

Compact 6FT design

At 6 ft in length, this Xtractor+ Custom is significantly shorter than a traditional carp rod. This creates a compact setup that is easy to handle and transport. The 3 lb test curve provides a powerful blank with enough reserve strength.
