2015
The beginning of our adventure
In 2015 begon alles onder de naam Scale Brothers Hengelsport. Wat toen klein begon, werd de stevige basis voor wat later zou uitgroeien tot CarpCentral.
2017
CarpCentral becomes official
We made a clear choice: to fully focus on carp anglers. From that moment on, CarpCentral became the place where carp anglers could find everything they needed.
2020
Moved to 500 m² of shop space
The growth continued. That’s why we moved to a spacious 500 m² shop right in the main shopping street of Delfzijl — a significant step in our visibility and service.
2026
1200 m² next level expansion
It’s happening: we are moving to a modern 1200 m² warehouse in Oude Pekela, with a 6-meter ceiling and plenty of room to grow for years to come. The shop is expanding significantly with top brands like PB Products, Carp Whisperer, Dynamite Baits, Pro Line, Sonubaits, Evezet Ingredients, and many more specialized carp brands.

Our core team consists of people who live for the sport. Driven by passion, knowledge, and real experience, we assist every carp angler with the right products, the best advice, and reliable service you can count on.

FounderTom SnoekTom is one of the two founders of CarpCentral. As an account manager, he maintains daily contact with all the brands we work with. With his keen eye for deals, he consistently secures the best agreements for our customers. He has been doing this since 2015 — and with great success.

Service ManagerWouter SnoekWouter is the voice of CarpCentral. He assists customers via phone, email, chat, and WhatsApp — always with the same goal: clear advice and fast service. Since starting in 2021, he has also developed into a specialist in product repair and maintenance, enabling him not only to help customers but truly take the load off their shoulders.

FounderMaarten SnoekMaarten is one of the two founders of CarpCentral. As a product expert and IT specialist, he manages everything related to the website, systems, and technology behind the company. In addition, he has been developing high-quality bait under the label CC Solution Boilies for nearly 15 years — a product line that has been available directly through CarpCentral since 2015.

General AssistantSteven BakkerSteven has attended the Sportvis Academie for years, where he received lessons from Roelof Schut — a well-known figure in the angling world. After several internships at CarpCentral, he officially joined the team at the end of 2025. As a general staff member, he ships packages, assists customers with their questions, and knows better than anyone where everything in the shop can be found.

General CoordinatorJan SnoekJan is the driving force behind everything that happens in the shop and warehouse. He mentors interns, manages the floor staff, and ensures all daily operations run smoothly. Since 2020, he has been part of CarpCentral—after an unexpected application. Jan is also the father of Tom, Wouter, and Maarten, which makes his role within the team even more special.

General AssistantWillem de WinterWillem has been working at CarpCentral since 2024 and is a familiar face within the team. After a short break in the winter of 2025/2026, he quickly returned to happily combine his passion for carp fishing with his work. Willem enjoys helping customers, packing orders, and handling warehouse tasks, with his enthusiasm and dedication making him a valuable asset to CarpCentral.

the BuilderHenk ZantingaHenk has been involved with CarpCentral since the beginning in 2015 and is a true all-rounder within the team. From building complete shop fittings to racks, doors, and walls: everything that needs to be made or constructed goes through Henk. Even today, he can still regularly be found at CarpCentral and remains an indispensable force behind the company.

General assistantDylano SukDylano versterkt het team sinds 2026 en helpt klanten, en zorgt dat pakketten op tijd verzonden worden. Als hardcore karpervisser die liever op zijn stretcher slaapt dan aan de waterkant, is hij ook een echte tackle specialist en kan hij je duidelijke uitleg geven over het karpervissen in het algemeen.
