Scope OPS - Retract Landing Net - 42"

The Nash Tackle Scope OPS Retract Landing Net 42" is an innovative carp landing net that combines the compact Scope concept with a new system for temporary fish retention. This standard version features retractable net arms, an extendable 1K carbon handle, and a redesigned aluminium spreader block, allowing the net to be transported compactly without compromising ease of use at the waterside.

One of the key innovations is the integrated retention system. After safely landing a carp, the handle can be secured to the ground using a separately available Scope Butt Lock Peg. The retractable net arms can then be slid in and secured with the integrated Velcro retention loop, closing the netting around the fish. This allows the carp to rest safely for a short time while you prepare carp care gear or photography.

• More compact transport length
• Full 42 inch net size during use

Innovative system for temporary fish retention

The integrated retention system allows a landed carp to rest temporarily in the landing net while you prepare the next steps. After landing the fish, the handle can be secured with a Scope Butt Lock Peg.

Then the net arms can be slid in and the integrated Velcro retention loop used to close the netting around the fish. This creates a temporary and controlled retention solution.

• Designed for temporary fish retention
• Retractable arms can be slid in after landing
• Velcro retention loop keeps the netting closed
• Handle can be fixed with a Scope Butt Lock Peg
• Practical when preparing carp care and photography

Compatible with Scope Butt Lock Peg

The retention system is designed to work with the Nash Scope Butt Lock Peg T1990. This allows the handle to be secured to the ground while the fish rests temporarily in the net.

The Scope Butt Lock Peg is sold separately and is not included with the landing net.

1K carbon handle

The handle is made from lightweight 1K carbon. This keeps the overall Weight of the net low and makes it comfortable to handle when landing a fish.

• 1K carbon construction
• Lightweight design
• Strong and practical in use
• Matches the high-quality Scope finish

Extendable twist-lock handle

The 1K carbon handle features an extendable twist-lock mechanism. This allows the handle to be adjusted to different lengths and securely locked.

In this standard version, the handle has a maximum length of 210 cm. This provides extra reach when landing fish from a higher bank, a boat, or around obstacles.

• Extendable twist-lock mechanism
• Adjustable handle length
• Secure locking
• Maximum length: 210 cm

Aluminium spreader block

The redesigned aluminium spreader block features an overfit arm design. This allows the net arms to be mounted and removed more quickly and easily when storing the net.

• Aluminium spreader block
• Overfit arm design
• Easy assembly
• Faster setup and breakdown

Reinforced net construction

The netting material is reinforced at the main stress points. This supports the structure where the most strain occurs during landing and temporarily holding a fish.

The mesh is also finished with the distinctive Scope Compass logo, visually linking the net to other products in the Scope series.

Compact transport size

Although this is the standard version, the net remains compact during transport thanks to the retractable arms. Packed, the landing net measures approximately 115 × 8 × 8 cm, making it easy to carry alongside other Scope gear.

• Transport length: approx. 115 cm
• Transport width: approx. 8 cm
• Transport depth: approx. 8 cm
• Compact enough for mobile fishing
• Designed to complement Scope rods and luggage

Ideal for mobile fishing and boat use

The combination of an adjustable handle, retractable net arms, and compact transport size makes the Scope OPS Retract Landing Net suitable for various fishing styles. The net performs well on tight swims, during stalking, and when landing carp from a boat.

• Suitable for mobile anglers
• Suitable for stalking
• Practical on tight swims
• Suitable for boat fishing
• Compact to carry

42 inch landing net

During use, the net offers a full 42 inch size. This provides enough space to safely land large carp despite the relatively compact transport size.
