Scope OPS - Abbreviated - 10FT - 3.25LB - CG Version

The Nash Tackle Scope OPS Abbreviated 10FT 3.25LB CG Version is a compact premium carp rod from the updated Scope OPS series. This model combines a 10 ft length and 3.25 lb test curve with an abbreviated Black Duplon handle and durable Ceramic Guides.

The rod is built around a 30T high modulus carbon blank with low resin content and an external 1K Toray carbon weave. Additionally, Nash uses a 45-degree multidirectional fiber reinforcement to reduce blank twist and lateral deformation under load. This allows the blank to process energy more efficiently and recover tightly and precisely after heavy strain.

1K Toray external weave

An external 1K Toray carbon weave is applied to the blank. This high-quality carbon finish is part of the Scope OPS blank construction and gives the rod its distinctive technical look.

45-degree multidirectional fiber reinforcement

The blank construction is further enhanced with a 45-degree multidirectional fiber reinforcement. According to Nash, this structure helps reduce twist and lateral deformation during heavy loads.

This allows the energy to be processed more directly through the blank under load and enables the rod to recover more accurately, contributing to control and precision during casting.

• 45-degree fiber reinforcement
• Helps limit blank twist
• Reduces lateral deformation
• Supports precise recovery
• Designed for better control under load

CG Version with Ceramic Guides

The CG Version is equipped with Ceramic Guides. Nash developed this model for anglers who require an exceptionally durable inner lining of the guides.

According to Nash, ceramic guide rings offer a very durable ring lining and help prevent wear from repeated contact with thicker braided mainlines and knots from snag or shock leaders.

• CG model with Ceramic Guides
• Durable ceramic ring lining
• Designed for intensive line contact
• Suitable for use with thicker braided lines
• Especially beneficial for snag and shock leader knots

40 mm starting guide to 12 mm anti-tangle tip guide

With a length of 10 ft, this Scope OPS is more compact than traditional 12 ft carp rods. This makes the rod easy to transport and manageable at spots where mobility or limited space is important.

According to Nash, the packdown length of the 10 ft Scope OPS models is approximately 127 cm.

• Length: 10 ft
• Packdown: approximately 127 cm
• Compact transport size
• Fits within the mobile Scope concept
