The Korda Krimping Tool Large is a sturdy crimping plier designed for creating strong, neat, and reliable connections in stiff and thicker leader materials. Crimping is especially ideal for materials that are difficult to knot and allows you to make leaders exactly the same length every time. This is particularly handy when making chod rigs.
The jaws of the pliers feature three clearly marked slots for XS, S, and L Korda Krimps. This ensures you always use the correct position for the size of crimp you want to attach. Combined with suitable leader material, this allows you to quickly and easily create a strong connection.
The Large version offers extra grip and leverage, making it comfortable to use for anglers who prefer a bigger tool. The rubber handles provide good control and make it easier to apply just the right amount of pressure on the crimp.
Additionally, the jaws include a handy line cutter, so you can trim your leader material to length while making rigs.
The Korda Krimping Tool Large is suitable for all Korda Krimps. The regular Krimps come in 0.5, 0.6, and 0.7 mm and can be used with Korda Boom, among others. The special Chod Krimps are available in 0.5 and 0.6 mm and are designed for Korda Mouth Trap.
