Essentials Krank X - Barbed

The Korda Essentials Krank X is based on the well-known Krank hook that has secured a firm place in carp fishing since its introduction in 2014. Its distinctive design with an extra wide hook bend, short curved shank, and offset hook point ensures excellent hooking and makes this hook especially suitable for modern carp rigs.

The offset point is one of the key features of the Krank X. This causes the hook to turn quickly and aggressively, increasing the chance of a solid hook hold. It’s no coincidence this model is widely used for Spinner Rigs and has been a favorite for years among anglers like Tom Dove and Spooner.

This Essentials version is made from extra strong X-gauge wire, providing plenty of strength and durability. The black nickel coating offers a subtle finish underwater, while the sharp point maintains its effectiveness over time.

The Krank X is ready to use straight out of the pack and is suitable for a variety of fishing situations, both in the Netherlands and tougher foreign waters. Always check the point after each catch and replace the hook if it’s damaged or blunt.

The Korda Essentials range is designed for anglers seeking reliable, solid gear without paying over the odds. This makes the Krank X a strong choice for both novice and experienced carp anglers.
