What are wafters? 

Wafters are carp boilies but slightly different. They resemble pop-ups and regular boilies but are not quite the same. So what are they? Wafters are intended solely for fishing. You cannot use them for baiting and are therefore only sold in small jars. The advantage of a wafter is that it neither sinks nor floats. They essentially remain suspended in the water.
