Leaders for carp fishing are available in many different types and sizes. The leader is basically the most important part of your entire setup. After all, this is what you catch the carp with! Tying your own carp leader is fun to do, but you don’t always have the time for it. Fortunately, this is not necessary, as there is now a wide range available from various brands of top-quality carp leaders.
Carp rig with or without a barb?
The traditional large barb from the past no longer exists. All our 'Barbed' leaders are equipped with a micro barb. This barb is much smaller than the old version and is less harmful to the fish. In some waters, it is mandatory to fish with a barbless carp rig. All our barbless carp rigs are marked with the word 'Barbless'!
