June marks the start of a busy period at the water for many carp anglers. The days are long, temperatures rise, and both short day sessions and longer overnight stays become more attractive. Fox responds with a broad product launch presented on June 16, 2026.
The new products are spread across different parts of the carp gear. There are new powerpacks for power supply at the water’s edge, two variants of Tough Skin leader material, updated Black Label accessories, and a lightweight carbon throwing stick.
Additionally, the women’s clothing line is expanded and a new shock leader is introduced for carp anglers who regularly bait with a Spomb. The launch focuses on rig building, baiting, comfort, power supply, and a neat rod setup.
Fox Wireless 96K Power Pack for longer carp sessions
One of the most striking new products is the Fox Wireless 96K Power Pack. This powerpack is developed by Fox for reliable outdoor use and has a battery capacity of 96,000 mAh.
This larger model is mainly aimed at longer carp sessions and situations where you want to charge multiple devices. Think phones, tablets, laptops, lighting, and other electronics you use during your time at the water’s edge.
The 96K comes with a shoulder strap, making it easier to carry among your gear. This is practical, as a powerpack with a large battery capacity quickly becomes an essential part of your session setup.
For carp anglers staying multiple nights, filming a lot, or using various devices, the larger capacity offers extra peace of mind. You won’t need to search for a power source as often and can keep your gear running longer.
More compact Fox Wireless 48K Power Pack
Alongside the 96K, Fox introduces a more compact Wireless 48K Power Pack. This model has a capacity of 48,000 mAh and features the same key functions as the larger version.
The difference mainly lies in size and weight. The 48K is smaller and lighter, making it more appealing for short sessions, mobile carp anglers, or those who carry less electronic gear.
Fox offers two clear options with this. The 96K is aimed at maximum capacity and longer stays. The 48K is easier to transport and still provides enough options for charging various devices.
Which powerpack suits you best mainly depends on the length of your sessions and how much power you typically use.
LiFePO4 cells for use at the waterside
Both powerpacks are equipped with LiFePO4 battery cells. These cells are chosen for reliable outdoor use and fast charging.
For a carp angler, reliability is crucial. A powerpack is taken in the car, transported on a barrow, and used in a bivvy or other shelter. The product must therefore suit an environment where moisture, temperature changes, and regular transport play a role.
The robust construction and battery technology are specifically tailored by Fox for this kind of use. This makes the powerpacks not only large mobile batteries but practical power supplies for the waterside.
Many connection options and wireless charging
The Fox Wireless 96K and 48K offer various ways to connect devices. Both models have two USB outputs, two USB-C outputs, and a 12V connection in the form of a cigarette lighter socket.
Additionally, the powerpacks support wireless charging up to 15 watts. You can place a compatible phone on the powerpack without a separate charging cable.
Fox has also added an integrated phone stand for this purpose. This keeps your phone visible while it charges wirelessly. This is handy when you’re watching footage, using an app, or want to keep your phone next to your bedchair.
An LED screen shows both the charging power and the discharging power. This makes it easier to monitor how much power is being used and how much capacity is still available during use.
Charging via USB-C, DC, or a solar panel
The powerpacks can be charged via a USB-C port or a DC input. Additionally, both models feature built-in MPPT support for charging with a solar panel up to 80 watts.
For longer carp sessions, charging via solar energy can be interesting. Especially when you spend several days at a water without access to a regular power outlet, you can extend the usage time of your powerpack this way.
The actual charging speed naturally depends on the panel used and the weather conditions. Still, the MPPT support offers extra options for carp anglers who want to stay as self-sufficient as possible at the waterside.
Both models come with charging cables, adapters, and both UK and European plugs.
Fox Tough Skin coated hooklink material.
Within the terminal tackle range, Fox introduces two new coated hooklink materials: Tough Skin and Tough Skin Soft. Both are built around a braided Kevlar inner core with a strong outer layer.
Fox paid a lot of attention to the flexibility of the core during development. Creating a coated material with an especially supple inner core is technically challenging but, according to Fox, contributes to better hook rotation and more freedom of movement in the rig.
The Kevlar weave also adds weight. This helps the hooklink sink better and position itself tidily against the bottom.
The coating is designed to stay tough during knotting and fishing. According to Fox, it won’t burst or tear when knots are pulled tight or with normal repeated use.
Tough Skin for a semi-stiff presentation.
The standard Tough Skin has a semi-stiff outer layer. This version is especially interesting when fishing over a relatively clean bottom and wanting a hooklink that sets itself well.
The extra stiffness helps prevent the rig from tangling during the cast. After landing, the hooklink stays better off the lead, giving you more confidence in the presentation.
A semi-stiff coating suits rigs where you want a combination of control and freedom of movement. The flexible inner core helps with hook movement, while the outer layer keeps most of the hooklink in shape.
Tough Skin can be used for various carp rigs, including spinner rigs, combi multi rigs, and different hair rigs.
Tough Skin Soft follows the bottom contours.
Tough Skin Soft has a more flexible outer layer. This allows the material to follow the contours of the bottom more naturally.
This variant is more versatile across different types of lakebeds. If your rig lies on a bottom with small irregularities, light weed growth, or varying substrate, a more flexible coating can adapt more easily.
This makes Tough Skin Soft appealing to carp anglers looking for a single coated material that can be used on many different spots. The supple coating combines camouflage and bottom tracking with a strong Kevlar core.
Both Tough Skin and Tough Skin Soft come on 20-meter spools. The materials are available in breaking strains of 20, 25, and 35 lb.
New Fox Black Label Bobbin Clips
New accessories are also coming within the Black Label range. The Black Label Bobbin Clips are adjustable colored line clips that let you customize existing Fox Black Label bobbins.
The tension on the line is adjustable with a screw collar. This allows you to adapt the clip to different line diameters and personal preferences.
With a thinner line, you may want a different tension than with a thicker mainline. The adjustable clip lets you find a setting where the bobbin stays well on the line but releases at the right moment during a bite.
The clips are available in orange, green, red, blue, purple, white, and black. They come in packs of three. This allows you to match the colors of your bobbins to your bite alarms or your complete rod setup.
Updated Fox Butt Locks
Fox has also renewed the butt rests for the back of the rod. The new Butt Locks have a hard plastic skeleton covered with a soft but strong rubber layer.
When you choose the right size, the rod handle is held firmly in place. This is especially important when fishing with tight lines, setting rods at an angle, or expecting a bite to put a lot of pressure on the rod rest.
There will be three standard sizes: small, medium, and large. These cover various rod types, from slim 10 ft rods to powerful 13 ft carp rods.
The Butt Locks are suitable for full cork, Duplon, abbreviated, and shrink wrap handles. Additionally, there will be a Duo model for carp anglers who switch between different types of handles.
Each Butt Lock comes with a rubber O-ring. This allows you to precisely align the rest on a buzzer bar.
Fox Horizon Carbon Throwing Stick
For carp anglers who want to feed boilies at long range, Fox introduces the Horizon Carbon Throwing Stick. This throwing tube is made from high modulus carbon, making it exceptionally lightweight.
A lightweight throwing tube is especially comfortable when feeding boilies for extended periods or in larger quantities. Less weight means less strain on your arm and shoulder during repeated use.
The throwing tube is 120 centimeters long and features a cobra-shaped neck. This shape increases the speed of the boilie in the tube and is designed to achieve greater casting distance.
The handle is ergonomically shaped and features an anti-twist grip. There is also an opening at the bottom to fill the throwing tube faster.
Two sizes for different boilie diameters
The Horizon Carbon Throwing Stick is available in two versions. One model is suitable for boilies up to 20 millimeters, and the other for boilies up to 24 millimeters.
This allows you to choose a size that matches the boilies you usually feed with. A well-fitting throwing tube helps move the boilie smoothly through the tube and reduces the chance of damage.
Both versions come with an anti-crush EVA bung. This is designed to prevent boilies from getting damaged or stuck in the throwing tube. A protective neoprene cover is also included.
Expansion of the Fox women's clothing range
Fox is also expanding the women's clothing line. The new garments use the well-known Fox camo pattern in a unique color combination.
The new camo hoodie has a full front zip and a three-piece hood with drawstrings. Elastic ribbed cuffs on the sleeves and hem ensure a comfortable and snug fit.
The camo joggers feature zippered pockets, drawstrings at the waist, and elastic cuffs around the ankles. Inside, there is an elastic waistband with Fox branding.
The clothing is designed for comfort during carp sessions but can also be worn away from the water.
Fox camo leggings and thermal leggings
Within the new women's range, there are also long and short camo leggings. Both models have two pockets on the thighs and an elastic fit.
The short leggings are designed for warm conditions, making them ideal for summer day sessions and longer stays in higher temperatures.
For colder conditions, Fox introduces black thermal leggings. These are lined with soft microfleece for extra warmth and comfort.
The thermal leggings also feature two pockets on the thighs and a stretchy fit that should provide ample freedom of movement. All new women's clothing is available in sizes small through extra large.
New Spomb XD Shock Leader
Finally, Fox introduces the Spomb XD Shock Leader. This is a very supple braided shock leader material specifically selected for feeding with a Spomb.
The material has a relatively thin diameter, which reduces friction during the cast and allows the line to move more smoothly through the rod guides.
Despite the thinner diameter, the leader has a specified breaking strain of 40 lb. This is important because powerful casts with a loaded Spomb put a lot of pressure on the leader.
According to Fox, the knot strength is high, and the smooth finish helps with repeated casting. The material is intended for use with Spomb X and XD braid.
Based on trusted Fox leader material
For the Spomb XD Shock Leader, Fox uses the same material as the original Fox Camo Submerge leader. Many carp anglers already used that material as a shock leader when spombing.
The new version makes this application clearer and specifically targets frequent and powerful baiting.
The Spomb XD Shock Leader comes on 50-meter spools. As with any braided shock leader, it’s important to wear a finger stall while casting. This protects your finger from the thin braided line during the build-up of casting power.
What stands out about the Fox launch of June 2026?
This Fox launch is broad, but the products have a clear practical approach. The power packs offer two capacities for different session lengths. Tough Skin and Tough Skin Soft give carp anglers the choice between a semi-stiff and a more supple rig presentation.
The new Black Label accessories help personalize and firmly set up your rods. The carbon throwing stick is designed for efficient long-distance baiting, and the Spomb XD Shock Leader focuses on smooth, powerful casts with the Spomb.
The expansion of the women’s clothing range is also extensive, with options for both warm and colder conditions.
New products for various types of carp sessions
Not every product in this launch is necessary for every carp angler. Those who mainly fish short day sessions will likely prefer the compact 48K Power Pack. For longer stays and lots of electronics, the 96K is more logical.
If you fish with many different rigs, Tough Skin and Tough Skin Soft offer new options to match your leader to the bottom. If you often bait with boilies or a Spomb, the Horizon Carbon Throwing Stick and Spomb XD Shock Leader are interesting additions.
The launch on June 16, 2026, demonstrates Fox’s focus on combining technology, comfort, and practical use at the waterside.
